Procurement Policies

The State Examinations Commission adheres to the EU Directive 2014/24/EU and Office of the Government Procurement National public procurement guidelines and legislation (see links below), has internal procedures in place, and runs training for staff under the Commission's Learning and Development Programme.

OGP National Public Procurement Policy Framework

The State Examinations Commission participates fully in ongoing initiatives of the Office of Government Procurement (OGP), focusing especially at achieving procurement savings, including the use of shared framework agreements for the provision of an increasing number of categories of supplies and services.

The State Examinations Commission is committed to facilitating access to procurement opportunities for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), particularly those providing innovative solutions.

The SEC is dedicated to promoting the wider use of environmental and social considerations in public procurement (DPER Circular 20-2019) with specific regard to the Climate Action Plan 2019.
